Adam Baker
I build websites for small businesses around Ashland and the Northwoods, and I'll show you how to run them.
I'll make stuff and show you how to do it. That's the whole idea behind Build with Baker.
What I do
Most of what I do is websites and Google listings for local businesses: trades, restaurants, lodging, shops. I build the site, get you showing up when people search, and keep it running if you want me to. The domain and the accounts are in your name from the start, so you're never stuck with me.
The other half is teaching. If you'd rather post your own updates or edit your own hours, I'll sit down with you and walk through it on your own setup. Every price is on the services page.
How I got here
My day job is in IT and infrastructure: security, systems, keeping things running. That's the part of a website most people forget about until something breaks, and it's the part I'm used to handling.
I got into AI because it made my own work faster, and I kept going because it's fun. I use it for the tedious parts of a build and check everything myself. On my own time I build free tools, like UniStyle, Wren, and Pinion.md. They're the easiest way to see how I work. The code is on GitHub, and if one saves you time, you can drop a coffee on Ko-fi.
Where I'm based
I live in Ashland, Wisconsin, on Lake Superior. I'll come to you anywhere in the Northwoods, or we can work over a screen share. I also take the occasional remote project, and you can find me on Upwork.
